We had a successful first week in 2nd grade! We spent some time this week getting to know one another and I've enjoyed learning about each child in my class. I have an awesome group of kids and I am excited about this school year!
The kiddos have been busy taking a math pretest for the past couple of days. I am so impressed with how hard they have worked on it.
Their first homework assignment is to bring in a "Me-Bag" by Tuesday. They can bring a few items that are special to them to share with the class.
Back to School Night is this Tuesday 9/4 from 6-8pm. I look forward to meeting with you.

Welcome to 2nd Grade!
I am so excited to start the 2012-2013 school year! I look forward to getting to know your children. I will update the blog every few weeks with information about what my class is learning and will share news and reminders. Let's have a great school year!
