Good Evening Parents!
This coming week we will begin guided reading groups and literacy centers. I will be focusing on the routines of guided reading groups and transitions so that we start off with solid organization. In reading group, we are reading realistic fiction books. Our comprehension strategy will be summarizing.
In my math class, the students will now have homework. We started the Algebra and Patterns Unit on Friday and will continue this unit for about a week or more. A parent preview sheet went home on Friday.
